Electrical
TVH has a team of capable and experienced electrical technicians across Australia who can provide on going service for your electrical equipment in accordance with all legislative requirements and relevant Australia Standards.
Residual Current Device (RCD) testing:
Correct testing as part of a regular preventative plan of RCDs ensures ongoing safety and prevention of electrocution or property damage. TVH can test RCDs using specialised equipment in accordance with AS/NZS 3760 and issue a compliancy certificate for your records.
Thermographic scanning:
High resistance joints and circuit overloading can lead to a potentially hazardous situation/s where an electrical fire may start. Using infrared technology to measure the radiant heat pattern emitted from equipment TVH can identify electrical risks before they become a hazard, and in the case of a fault our technicians are on site to take immediate action to prevent any possible system failure or damage.
Appliance test and tag:
Our electricians can conduct an electrical test measuring earth continuity, insulation resistance and polarity in accordance with AS 3760 to determine if an appliance is electrically safe for personal use. All appliances that pass this two-stage process are fitted with a durable, non-reusable tag. The appliance will also be logged and issued with a compliance certificate. The frequency of electrical testing is based on the minimum requirements as per the standard, and how hostile the environment is. To help you determine the appropriate frequency, our electricians will conduct a risk assessment on the workplace and work with you to develop the correct preventative maintenance schedule.
